Danielle and I had the pleasure of visiting The Miraj Hammam Spa last week, which inspired this blog.
After having the Hammam, Gommage & Rhassoul Clay Mask treatment we were hooked!
Although we always exfoliate our bodies at home, to have a professional do it for you is truly next level.
There is seriously nothing like getting pampered at a spa!
I put together 6 Reasons Why You Need Spa Time...cause seriously who doesn't?
1. To Detoxify. Detoxing has never been more crucial! With all the toxins, pollution & negative vibes out there it's super important we make the time to detox. The best way to detox at a spa is to take advantage of the steam room and sauna! A dry sauna or steam room makes you sweat, helping you eliminate toxins through the skin. Sweating is also great for your skin, as it opens your pores allowing dirt and debris to be washed away. Lucky for us, our treatment was done in a traditional Hammam steam room! Remember to hydrate after steaming. As you detox, you should be drinking large amounts of clean water. The Miraj Hammam Spa even had crystal infused water...talk about luxury!
2.Make time for you. Self-care is a big deal in our community and learning to take the time for yourself is something we encourage our beauties to incorporate into there daily lives. By visiting a spa you are supercharging your self-care routine. The moment you walk into the spa you feel the weight of the world leave your body. It is a proven fact that taking adequate time to pamper yourself and taking good care of your body and mind can greatly improve your body image, enhance its awareness and boost your self-esteem.

We had the most amazing therapist at The Mirajthat explained each step, and its benefits!
One of the best parts about The Miraj Hammam Spa was the lounge! That alone was a reason to come back! They def got the Moroccan vibes down! We didn't wanna leave! If you ever want to spoil a friend or loved one we highly recommend this spa! Hands down 5 stars!
